We would like to thank you for allowing us the opportunity of meeting with the two of you at your home to discuss your upcoming siding & trim projects.

We are extremely fussy about the details of your project, our craftsmanship & methods of installation are second to none and we only offer high quality products. If we are not allowed to "Install your project right the first time" we would rather not install your project at all. Like almost everything in life, including siding, trim and workmanship most people have found that they get what they pay for. We stand behind our quality craftsmanship for Ten Years.

Here is a list of some of the fine details we recommend for your siding & trim project:

We have measured all of your exterior walls, overhangs and face boards to determine
the exact material and labor needed to do the work on your home. We have taken photographs of all of your exterior walls, overhangs and porch ceilings as well. We use these photographs to make sure that all of our proposals listed below are correct & accurate.

We have counted all of your electrical outlets, light fixture outlets, door bell outlets, hose bib outlets, dryer vent outlets and gas pipe outlets and we will include heavy-duty P.V.C. wall units for these outlets with our siding proposal. These P.V.C. units are available in a wide variety of colors to choose from.

We highly recommend custom-formed pre-painted aluminum Z-flashing for over your entire window and door header trim and for over all of your decorative frieze/belly trim board areas. The Z-flashing is needed to prevent water from getting behind these areas. We will provide you with an optional proposal for the Z-flashing work.

We highly recommend custom-formed pre-painted aluminum L-flashing for over all of your deck areas. The L-flashing is needed to prevent water, dirt and leaves from getting behind your deck boards & deck ledger boards. The L-flashing does not allow water to rot out your wood ledger boards. We will provide you with an optional proposal for the L-flashing work.

Our professional recommendation is that we install high quality "VaproShield" wall wrap over all of your exterior wall sheathing to protect the wall sheathing from moisture and air infiltration before the new siding is installed. We will provide you with an optional proposal for this work.

It is our professional recommendation that we install heavy-duty 4" wide "Vycor or Henry" rubber tape around all of your window & door openings to prevent air infiltration and water from leaking in around the window & door openings. We will provide you with an optional proposal for this work.

For the best overall appearance for your new home we highly recommend having us install fully vented heavy-duty aluminum V-groove soffit panels where venting is needed and have us install solid heavy-duty aluminum V-groove soffit panels where venting is not needed. 2" x 2" wood wall ledger boards are needed in all of your gable overhang areas. We will furnish and install the ledger boards when we install the new aluminum soffit material. We will provide you with an optional proposal for this work.

Mason's Siding Supply, Inc agrees to furnish all the material and labor required to complete the work as described below:
